IPO FUND RAISING HISTORY

The previous lowest fund raising via IPOs was in the year 2001 which was only Rs296 crore.
The highest-ever mobilisation through IPOs was as recent as in the year 2010 at Rs37,535 crore. Indian companies mopped up Rs 1,619 crore in 2013 via initial public offerings (IPO), the lowest level in 12 years.

Out of the 38 IPOs, highest over subscription was received by Just Dial by 9 times, followed by GCM Securities and Sunstar Realty by 2 times each.
The year 2013, witnessed a flurry of activity on the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) platform with 35 IPOs collecting Rs335 crore.
